In a slight departure from the usual Cold Warning sound of deep, dark, and brooding, Cold Warning's 2nd release KSRM presents a much more beat laden, and brighter album than its predecessor Substation 7. In essence it is closer to a Dance CD rather than the experimental, electro acoustic sounds found on Substation 7.

Substation 7 is Cold Warning's first album. Many songs from the album have appeared on several cable television network programs to include the History Channel's Beyond the Da Vinci Code, MTV's Scarred and many others. If you are looking for powder puff, Britney Spears music or generic assembly line music you probably will hate this music. If you enjoy delving into the obscure then Substation is what you are looking for.
