| Biography: Way before I was born I was introduced to music. My parents are both classical music lovers, but they also played lots of jazz. I was in my mothers belly while I enjoyed the music with them!
In my early childhood I enjoyed the classical music my parents played, and they also took me to classical concerts once in a while. In my early teens I discovered the White Album from the Beatles in my parent’s record collection. After that I became a huge Beatles fan. I analyzed their music, lyrics and biographies. I had years of flute lessons and even played in some classical concerts. Later my father introduced me to other bands, and when I moved to my own apartment I already had a large record collection. I bought a small keyboard and started to write some songs, just for myself. A few years later I started a band with a friend. I bought my first professional keyboard and a drum computer. My friend played several instruments. I had a few good songs but getting them recorded properly was more difficult than we had imagined. We had a four track machine and lots of tapes, but the technology back then was just too intimidating for us. Our band project stalled. Years passed where I moved on to fulfill my other passion, Creative Art. While I became I successful Freelance Artist and Designer, I never gave up on music. My CD collection grew bigger and bigger. I moved to the United States where I practically had to start my life from scratch. I sold everything but my CD collection and a few personal things to pay for the move. It took years to get back to where I used to be in this new country. Many years have passed and my music taste has changed, but my passion for music has always been alive. Eventually I was able to buy myself a keyboard again. It took another few years before I discovered music software, which made it easy for me to record my music without becoming a technician. For three months I worked almost every day on writing and recording music. I neglected my other hobbies, focusing on getting enough songs together to publish a CD. My design background allowed me to create my own CD Cover, and on March 1, 2006 I made my very first CD available via my online store. Something I could only dream of a few years ago! |
